When preparing your jobsite for a hurricane, having a hurricane preparedness checklist is an extremely helpful tool. Not only are there step-by-step instructions to secure your porta potty but it also includes instructions you may not have previously considered.
Step 1: How to Secure Your Porta Potty
Securing your porta potty during a hurricane in Florida is one of the most crucial things you need to do before the storm makes landfall. For a step-by-step guide with photos and two convenient methods, please see our downloadable e book here.
If it’s too close to the storm date to purchase the supplies needed to secure the porta potty, we also recommend enrolling into a Rental Protection Program (RPP). Whether you are renting from Doodie Calls or another company, the RPP will remove all customer liability for damages. Enroll in our RPP today, by clicking here.
Step 2: Avoid Pre-Storm Pickup
Step 3: Additional Steps for Your Checklist
If you have a dumpster on site, either schedule a pickup or cover it with a tarp. For heavy machinery, move it to a covered area if possible. If that’s not possible, secure the machinery together to prevent it from being blown away and causing damage.
