A standard porta potty is a single-user, self-contained portable toilet with a chemical holding tank. It needs no water or power hookups. Doodie Calls rents the Satellite AXXIS, a 44″ W × 48″ D × 90″ H unit with a 60-gallon waste tank. It’s the most common choice for construction sites, outdoor events and emergency response.

How we estimate this
For events, we start from roughly 1 unit per 50 attendees for a 4-hour event, scale up for longer events, add capacity when the crowd skews more than 50% women (restroom visits tend to run longer), and add about 15–20% more units if alcohol will be served. We also recommend 2–3 handwashing stations for every 10 units needed. Every job is different, so treat this as a starting point, not a final quote.
