Doodie Calls grows in Tallahassee with acquisition of Howdy’s Rent A Toilet

The acquisition brings a family-owned Tallahassee name, in business since 1994, together with Talquin Portable Restrooms under Doodie Calls. It combines construction, special event and high-rise sanitation with a local team customers already know.

In July 2025, Howdy’s Rent A Toilet and Talquin Portable Restrooms joined forces under Doodie Calls, a family-owned and operated Florida company serving Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Texas.

Howdy’s has served Tallahassee builders, event planners and families since 1994. Allen Jenkins bought the business that year with just 40 rental units.

Howdy’s grew into a trusted name on Tallahassee job sites by showing up on time, placing units where customers asked, and keeping them clean. That same team now has the resources of Doodie Calls behind it.

For Howdy’s Customers

Still the team you know. Same dependable service.

The name may have changed, but the commitment to Howdy’s customers hasn’t. Tallahassee is managed by people who’ve worked the market for years, including Courtney Michelle Lawrence (8 years at Howdy’s) and Marcus Somerset (5 years at Howdy’s). They work alongside Fillmore Griffith (24 years at Talquin).
