Preparing Your Portable Toilet Ahead of the Storm
We understand how daunting it is to find yourself and your jobsite in the projected path of an upcoming hurricane. We will do our best to service every customer ahead of the storm, but understand that conditions may make it impossible to pick up or service your portable toilet rental. Our policy is to pump out portable toilets so they are empty ahead of the storm, as well as attempt to place them in the safest location possible, as time allows.
Ultimately, this is equipment you have rented and are therefore responsible for during a storm. Here is what we advise for securing a portable restroom:
- Secure a rope around the unit to keep the door closed,
- Lay it down on the leeward side of the job site (out of the prevailing winds).
- If possible, move the portable to the interior of a garage, or
- Rope-tie the portable to a solid object such as tree, dumpster or telephone pole.

Generally, our office hours of operation are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additionally, we have after hours emergency support available 24/7.
Our experienced sales staff will evaluate how many units will comfortably accommodate your guests. Event type, approximate number of guests, percentage of men/women/children attending, hours of usage, and whether or not alcohol is being served help determine the appropriate number of restroom trailers you will need.
Yes, for these situations a power generator and fresh water unit can be rented in addition to the restroom trailer.
