Dunedin, Florida ushers in the holiday festivities with their famous holiday boat parade for 2021. The holiday season is traditionally a joyous occasion in the Sunshine State. With the crisp, clear weather combined with a number of special events to offer heaps of fun, family-friendly activities for locals and visitors alike.
The city of Dunedin presents a city-wide holiday boat parade each year. During this annual waterfront ceremony, decorated boats float across the Marina. This celebration also features an appearance from Santa (on the last boat of the parade). Additional features include live music, s’mores, and to top things off a tree lighting event in Edgewater Park.
In accordance with Dunedin’s online platform they’ve informed us that, “the parade route begins at Marker 1 Marina, travels south along the Intracoastal to Union Street, and returns north to the Dunedin Marina. At roughly 7:00 p.m boats will arrive at Dunedin Marina.”
