The Covid-19 delta variant is wreaking havoc across the states, especially here in Florida. Florida has had record-breaking hospitalizations in the past month and a record-breaking number of cases. Deaths from Covid-19 are also rising and reaching new highs. In addition, school is starting back up, which is always a hotbed for germs. All of these factors combined are very worrying for many of us in South Florida.

Unlike before, there have been no mask mandates or lockdowns. For the most part, it seems to be business as usual. How can we do our part during this troubling time?

How To Stay Safe

Of course, we can continue to wear masks in public or crowded places. There is also the option to get the vaccine and do our best to limit exposure. With weddings, concerts, and other events still happening, we can also practice extra hand washing!

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) writes, “Washing your hands is easy, and it’s one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs. Clean hands can stop germs from spreading from one person to another and throughout an entire community—from your home and workplace to childcare facilities and hospitals.”

Oftentimes it can be hard to find a bathroom at a busy event, especially when they may be crowded and germy. According to the CDC, washing hands with soap and water is preferable to sanitizing gel. The gel may not be as effective as soap in terms of eliminating all types of germs, including some viruses.

Doodie Calls can help! Our company offers so much more than portable restrooms, restroom trailers, and dumpster rentals. We also offer portable handwashing stations! This can be so helpful for big or small events to prevent the spread of disease, like the Covid-19 delta variant.

Doodie Calls can help keep your special event clean and safe with separate, portable handwashing station options. These units provide you and your guests an alternative to the traditional hand sanitizer dispenser. Hand sanitizer dispensers are standard in all of our special event portable toilets.

This convenient and easy-to-use hand wash station is equipped with four sinks to provide efficient use for any kind of special event. The sink has separate fresh water and grey water tank. The freshwater is dispensed through the faucet with a foot pump at the base of the station that is simple to use.

These quality portable hand washing stations can be perfect for having near the food or catering at an event. Another place they could be useful is near a bar area. Also if there will be kids at the event, they could be useful near kid’s play areas.

  1. I loved that you said that oftentimes it can be hard to find a bathroom at a busy event, especially when they may be crowded and germy. My sister mentioned that she would want her debut to be held in the lawn area of our house. She is expecting more than 75 guests. Alcohol would be served, so I am certain of the need to have portable hand washing stations for the event. We will follow your tips.
